Cumbria County Council has informed us that from 14th July the U4090 (Wellington end) will be closed for up to five days to allow Northern Gas Networks to carry out urgent repairs. It is expected that the works will take 2 days. Any queries should be directed to Cumbria Highways on 01946 506550.

Gosforth Library will re-open its doors on Saturday, 21st May 2016, manned by local volunteers in partnership with Gosforth Parish Council, Gosforth Public Hall and Cumbria County Council. Opening hours will be 1000-1200h on Saturdays; 1300-1530h on Mondays; 1500-1730h on Wednesdays. Your support would be welcome.

Its coming up to Swarm season for bees, if anyone has any arrive on their land / house etc they can give me and Tracey a call and we will happily remove them for free ( Honey bees not Wasps ! but we can help with ID if anyone is unsure )
